Your PleasureIt is the hallmark difference between how humans enjoy sex and how all other animals have it solely to procreate. Face it, you’re a gifted animal with needs. You have a sex drive. There’s no way around it. Whether it manifests itself as self love, male-female, male-male or female-female, it becomes a living art when the five senses are combined with sex to produce pleasure. This need for eroticism, beyond procreation, magnifies the sensations of physical pleasure that is orgasm. By incorporating sensuality with sexuality, we’re increasing the depth of our experience as well as benefiting from this most natural tranquilizer and its restorative properties. Initially attracted to each other through pheromones and the sense of smell, where there is compatibility, there is sweetness. Taste this ambrosia from every crevice of your lover’s body, beginning with the lips and beyond. Hear them moan appreciatively to your knowing and caring touch; the sound of their passion fueling your desire; voicing a primal approval to this carnal act that must be done, our greatest expression of love. Touch, a language beyond words conveys a knowing and a desire to become one again. Touch is expressed as a primal need to extend beyond the boundaries between us until we become one. When we can combine the necessity of our sexuality with responsible and knowledgeable sensuality, there are no limits to the expression of joy that our bodies are capable of experiencing. When we let go of guilt and give ourselves permission to enjoy sex responsibly, that inevitably frees us from our base condemnation of the act. Self love, in whatever form it takes, should be recommended as caring advice to all, but particularly to individuals whose sex drive is not readily satisfied by a partner.
