Sensual bras add allure, excitement and fantasy appeal to an otherwise boring and minimizing apparel.

It is the most important undergarment for getting dressed in a sexy style, that is, from the skin up. What usually covers this sensual erotic lingerie is more sensual clothing.

Whereas the functional bra’s main purpose is to give breasts enclosed support, minimizing their sex appeal and keeping them from any uncomfortable bouncing, the sensual fabrics of sexy apparel does the same, for the most part, but enhances the sensual curves of the female body so much more.

The fabric is usually extremely soft, lacy, under wired and see-through, although sensual leather encourages fantasy and passion as well. Most of these sensual essentials are meant to accentuate the cleavage and the roundness of this extremely popular mammary gland.

The original and most famous were the French bras, also known as Shelf Bras today. This sensual fashion supports the breast as it sits on a small shelf. With nothing covering the top of the breast, they appear naked, available, and because nothing is covering them, they are thrust up and out in a more inviting and provocative way.

Naked flesh supported by the shelf, defines the cleavage. Without the shelf, the cleavage is lost as the breasts hang loosely down and out. Although many appreciate the look of naked breasts, with cleavage they just look so much more sexy and inviting.

Women who have D cup or larger breasts have too much fleshy volume for this style of bra, and although the bra’s under wire can help to keep the breasts facing forward somewhat, the shelf is too small to support them in an up and out fashion.

Although not appropriate for exercise, work, or PTO meetings, sensual bras have their place in the lives of sensual women who appreciate their femininity, their sensual breast and cleavage and the apparel that accentuates the positive.
